St. John Vianney Regional School students attend a School Mass every Wednesday morning. Each week, a different grade takes responsibility for the readings.
Our Catholic 8th-grade students will prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation, which will more perfectly bind them to the Church, enriching them with a special strength of the Holy Spirit.
Each month, the teachers nominate one student from their class who exemplifies a virtue. These “Disciples of the Month” are recognized at a school Mass and presented with a certificate.
Virtues may include: good manners, faith, moral courage, respect, forgiveness, and more.
Every middle school student is paired with a student in an elementary grade. Throughout the year, the Prayer Partners participate in community service projects with their younger students. This program helps to foster an older/younger student relationship.
May Procession is a beautiful tradition at St. John Vianney! Students in all grade levels celebrate Mary during her month with a procession into the church. A May Court honors Mary with flowers. Our 3rd and 8th-grade future graduates are recognized for completing their Holy Sacraments.
